Job Description:Singapore is a global centre for business, innovation, and talent. As a Manager in the Hub Strategy team, you will play a key role in developing and executing national strategies to strengthen Singapore's value propositions as a business hub. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth analysis of global trends, including supply chains, global connectivity hubs, regulations, business models, and demands, and technology, to derive insights and implications for Singapore's hub development strategies. You will also develop and implement value propositions and programmes that enhance Singapore's people and goods connectivity, to encourage targeted foreign investment in Singapore and support long-term local industry development. Additionally, you will work closely with other teams in the Economic Development Board and partners in government and industry to develop and implement these programmes.Requirements:To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in a strategy, consulting, policy, research, or industry development role.You should have excellent analytical and conceptual thinking, able to structure analysis for complex and ambiguous issues, using qualitative and quantitative data, to make sense of new subject matter, distil insights, and actionable solutions.Keen business acumen is also required, able to identify opportunities for Singapore at an industry level.Excellent project management and leadership skills are essential, able to lead cross-functional projects, manage multiple workstreams with autonomy, and deliver outcomes effectively and efficiently.Strong interpersonal and influencing skills are also necessary, able to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.Adaptability and organisational skills are also important, able to identify and respond quickly to changes in the business environment and changes in priorities.Benefits:This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects that drive economic growth and development in Singapore.As a member of the Hub Strategy team, you will have access to training and development opportunities, mentorship, and career advancement possibilities.Additionally, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that values diversity, inclusion, and innovation.Others:Candidates with experience in quantitative analysis, strategy development and execution, and project management will have an advantage.Singaporean citizens are encouraged to apply.The role is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.Interested candidates should submit their application, highlighting their relevant experience and qualifications.
