Business Analyst - Basel4 Program

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our IT team in charge of implementing the Basel4 Program in the Risk department. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of this program.

Main Responsibilities
  • Liaise with business stakeholders to clarify and understand requirements
  • Manage workshops with business stakeholders to challenge needs and explain new solutions
  • Analyze functional impacts considering technical constraints with technical lead's assistance
  • Explain and work closely with developers for the implementation of changes and evolutions
Functional Testing
  • Create tests and define test strategy in coordination with project manager and other Business Analysts
  • Define use cases to manage regarding the impact on business of new requirements
  • Conduct continuous testing in development environment for development monitoring
Project Management
  • Help project manager in Sprint planning based on capacity management and backlog management
  • Help to monitor sprint progress by coordinating with developers on a daily basis using dashboard
  • Help to manage KPIs to monitor project progress
  • Proactive in managing risks, alerting on blockers and any possible delay in project status
  • Help in coordinating delivery in production and non-production with developers, technical architects, and other Business Analysts
Qualifications and Profile
  • At least 7 years of business analyst experience
  • Experience on Agile projects (preferably as a Scrum Master) is strongly preferred
  • Hands-on testing process (writing, executing, and monitoring tests)
  • Database testing with query writing for data comparison
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive and result-oriented
  • Sense of commitment
  • Knowledge of all phases of IT system development and implementation life cycle
  • Exposure on Agile and Waterfall project methodology
  • Capable to effectively interact with Business team
  • Capable to effectively interact with Technical team
  • Team spirit - Like to explain and share knowledge
  • Proactive with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Technical Requirements
  • Technical experience or background to be comfortable with data models and SQL
  • Experience with JIRA and JIRA XRAY
  • Optional experience on API testing
Functional Requirements
  • Financial/banking industry knowledge
  • Specific knowledge in regulatory frameworks and requirements (Basel committee)
