Photonic Device Characterization Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the development of next-generation photonic products. As a Photonic Device Characterization Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans to analyze device performance and improve designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans to analyze device performance and improve designs.
  • Perform chip- and wafer-level testing of photonic devices.
  • Utilize software for efficient data processing and analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of next-generation photonic products.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree (2+ years experience) or PhD in Electrical/Optical Engineering or Semiconductor Physics.
  • Hands-on experience in photonic device characterization.
  • Expertise in optical alignment and electrical probing.
  • Ability to design and develop test systems and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of guided-wave optics.
  • Experience in 3D sensing, LiDAR, organic/compound materials, or semiconductor foundry processes is preferred.
