Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a robust investment governance framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and AIA-wide governance standards.
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the investment team to ensure effective risk management and oversight of investment activities.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to build trust and relationships, ensuring a strong governance culture and accountability within the organization.
- Lead initiatives to enhance governance, risk, and compliance culture across AIA Investment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry partners to stay up-to-date on regulatory trends and best practices.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on investment governance, risk management, and compliance to support business growth and expansion.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in risk, investment governance, or investment compliance, with a strong track record of building governance frameworks and oversight functions in a multi-jurisdiction and multi-operations large financial services organization.
- Strong experience in change management and ability to influence and facilitate monitoring, assurance, and audit.
- High-level understanding of operating conditions and regulations in Singapore and relevant jurisdictions.
- Strong influencing skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, and independent and strong self-initiative.
