Aircraft Cabin Technician Job Description

Aircraft Cabin Technicians play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers. Their responsibilities encompass inspecting and repairing passenger seats, galleys, and lavatories to maintain aircraft conditions.


Key qualifications for this position include comprehensive knowledge of aircraft operations and activities as well as facility maintenance.

The ideal candidate will be able to install cabin interior components into commercial aircraft, including seat tracks, overhead bins, galleys, side panels, bulkheads, etc.

In this capacity, they will perform functional and aesthetic inspections of aircraft cabin interiors and document any defects, perform troubleshooting, and carry out rectification.

Additionally, they will support cabin modification, retrofitting, and component repair tasks while maintaining the quality of the aircraft interiors on the operated fleet.


Requirements:

  • Must have an educational background in aviation or equivalent experience as an aircraft technician.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircrafts in one of the following trades: Mechanical (B1), Avionics (B2), Sheetmetal, or Cabin.
  • Ability to perform tasks in high-noise areas and at great heights.
  • Able to work in a warm and humid environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in standard English.
