We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at JGC ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement instrument and control system designs for process and industrial plants.
- Lead small to medium-sized projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and schedule.
- Prepare and review field instrument and control system specifications, requisitions, and vendor documents.
- Design and review construction drawings, including index, IO lists, location layouts, and hook-up diagrams.
- Evaluate and select suitable instruments for process control and monitoring applications.
- Estimate project costs, prepare technical proposals, and lead estimation work for new tender projects.
- Prepare project monthly reports and attend project and client meetings as required.
- Collaborate with other teams and monitor daily job task assignments.
- Perform FAT inspections, SAT, loop checks, site construction, and commissioning support as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Instrument and Control Engineering.
- At least 15 years of experience in instrument and control system design work.
- Knowledge and experience in field instrument engineering and control systems, including DCS, ESD, and F&G.
- Able to work at construction sites to support construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
