Tax & Treasury Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Tax & Treasury Assistant Manager to join our team at INNERGY CONSULTING PTE. LTD. This role will be responsible for managing all tax and treasury operations matters for Asia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage tax matters, including corporate tax, GST, and withholding tax reporting for the Asia region.
  • Ensure quarterly and annual tax provisions comply with Group and Statutory requirements.
  • Assist the Finance team with tax-related aspects of the monthly close process.
  • Prepare and coordinate annual statutory tax computations in collaboration with the tax agent.
  • Prepare GST returns.
  • Handle and respond to all tax-related queries from IRAS in partnership with the tax agent.
  • Manage transfer pricing, including the review and assessment of related party transaction pricing and withholding tax matters.
  • Ensure all tax-related accounting documentation is properly maintained.
  • Identify and mitigate potential tax risks.
Treasury Responsibilities:
  • Manage treasury operations, including cash operations, banking activities, and hedging for the Asia region.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and perform liquidity planning.
  • Maintain banking relationships and coordinate with banks regarding the company's banking facilities, including banker guarantees.
  • Develop and implement cash management strategies to enhance efficiency, improve processes, protect assets, and minimize costs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures related to cash management activities.
  • Oversee bank account management, including internet banking platforms.
  • Manage intercompany loans within the group, if applicable.
  • Support the accounting team with the monthly close process related to cash, interest, and related accounts, and report to Global.
  • Assist with any ad-hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Ideally 3-5 years of experience in tax and treasury roles.
  • Experience with Oracle is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Capability to work independently and within a team.
