Electrical Discharge Machining Specialist

Maintenance and operations of Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM) are crucial for manufacturing high-precision components with precision engineering. We are seeking an experienced EDM Machinist to join our team, who will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.

The ideal candidate should be skilled in operating and maintaining EDM machines, including setting up and operating EDM machines for high-precision machining, interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files, selecting appropriate electrodes, tools, and machine settings for the job, and exhibiting advanced proficiency in EDM operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine EDM operations
  • Exhibit advanced proficiency in setting up and operating EDM machines
  • Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an EDM Machinist with CNC Wire-Cut and/or Sinker EDM
  • Advanced knowledge of EDM operations, maintenance, and repair
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
