About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in firmware and software development, testing, and support for microcontroller-based wireless systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and driving technology projects from specification to release.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop firmware/embedded software applications for microcontroller-based wireless systems.
  • Develop software communication protocols for wireless communication systems.
  • Drive technology projects through all phases, from specification to release.
  • Analyze electronics schematics and system designs to inform your work.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery on time.
  • Define and create product software specifications, including architecture, feature descriptions, and application notes.
  • Research technical issues and opportunities, providing recommendations to drive innovation.
  • Participate in ad hoc software projects and assignments as required.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A degree in Electronic/Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in real-time embedded systems.
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming languages.
  • Experience working with Arm, Cortex-based microcontrollers.
  • Familiarity with communication transport protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and USB.
  • Understanding of the Bluetooth protocol and stack (a plus).
  • DSP programming skills (an added advantage).
  • Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Effective time management and self-motivation.
