Financial Planning Manager


Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements and management reports in accordance with established schedules.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accounting controls by developing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Preparing and managing cash flow projections and reviewing cash books to ensure accuracy.
  • Planning, assigning, and reviewing work performed by subordinates to meet closing timelines.
  • Handling and managing interco transactions.
  • Assisting in monthly reports analysis and quarterly forecast analysis.
  • Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
  • Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Assisting in monthly closing journals.
  • Providing supervision and guidance to the team.
  • Performing stock take reconciliation and reviewing stock take reconciliation.
  • Assisting in audit and taxation matters, including liaison with auditors and tax agents.
  • Assisting in preparing audit reports and annual filings with regulatory bodies.
  • Performing GST reconciliations and quarterly GST filings.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the HR Manager with daily administrative duties, data entry, and record verification to ensure information accuracy.
  • Supporting recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate follow-ups.
  • Coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and orientation.
  • Managing employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
  • Tracking leave, attendance, and performance review schedules.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements for senior executives.
  • Handling confidential correspondence and documentation with discretion.
  • Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders on behalf of management.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in accounting, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and systems.
