Flow Cytometry Specialist

This role involves working with advanced equipment to analyze and process biological samples. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of flow cytometry principles and techniques, as well as experience with instrument operation and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain flow cytometry instruments and related equipment
  • Prepare and process biological samples for flow cytometric analysis
  • Troubleshoot and optimize flow cytometry protocols and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, results, and protocols
  • Collaborate with scientists to support flow cytometry needs
  • Evaluate sample acceptability based on established guidelines and process specimens for analysis in accordance with established written procedures
  • Accurately evaluate test results according to standardized protocols
  • Maintain quality control measures during testing to ensure compliance with established quality standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical, immunology or biological science from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in a flow cytometry laboratory
  • Proven experience with flow cytometry, including instrument operation and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of flow cytometry principles and techniques
  • Familiarity with immunophenotyping other common applications of flow cytometry
