Marine Generator Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Generator Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting and repairing marine generators. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with assembly and repair of marine generators, as well as familiarity with marine electronics and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide standby support and emergency call-out services to customers
  • Offer after-sales technical support, site recovery and maintenance services to distributors/end customers
  • Generate service reports in a systematic manner
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product failures
  • Determine the root causes of failures and recommend solutions
  • Review and assist in determining the extent of damage and repairs for warranty claims from distributors
  • Maintain close working relationships with key customers to ensure issues are resolved promptly
  • Develop service training materials and ensure all technical and training documents are up-to-date and organized
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Frequent travel required within the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia regions
  • Candidates with equivalent professional backgrounds will be considered
  • Prior electrical and control experience with various control systems (John Deere ECU and KDI ECU) and synchronization systems is advantageous
