Senior Software Engineer
Our ideal candidate is an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in software development, focused on agile and XP practices. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software applications that meet business requirements.
- Implement Extreme Programming (XP) practices to improve software quality through code reviews and unit testing.
- Emphasize clean, maintainable, and high-quality code by adhering to the Software Craftsmanship Manifesto.
- Prepare technical documentation to support development and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine and elaborate user stories.
- Work with Quality Assurance teams to assist in test automation and bug fixes.
- Support DevOps teams in automating build and release pipelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in software development, with a focus on agile and XP practices.
- Proficient in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python), version control (e.g., Git), unit testing, code reviews, architectural design, and CI/CD tools for build and release automation.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and attention to code quality and maintainability.
- Agile/Scrum Certification and DevOps-related certifications preferred.
