Radiographer Job Opportunity in Cardiovascular Suite

Job Description

As a Radiographer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform all diagnostic imaging procedures according to established standards and guidelines. This includes ensuring that examinations are conducted safely and efficiently, observing radiation safety rules and procedural consents.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all diagnostic imaging services according to established standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure examinations are conducted safely and efficiently.
  • Observe radiation safety rules and procedural consents.
  • Ensure the quality of recorded images and printed copies on paper is optimal before releasing to doctors and patients.
  • Ensure examination codes entered into the system correspond to the requested examination.
  • Explain examinations to patients, including what they will undergo and estimated duration.
  • Ensure patient safety, physical and emotional well-being during and after examinations.
  • Take precautions to protect patients, staff, and public from unnecessary exposure to ionizing radiation.

Other duties as instructed by the Principal Radiographer, Manager or Assistant Director of Nursing may also be required.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Applied Science (Radiography) or Diploma in Radiography from recognized institutions is essential for this role. Additionally, membership in local or overseas professional institutions and minimum two years of relevant experience as a Radiographer in diagnostic imaging facilities are highly desirable. Experience in sub-specialties such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Mammography is preferred.
