Job Title: Director of Youth Services

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Director of Youth Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for championing collaborative approaches that recognize the impact of trauma while promoting youth well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of divisional programs that integrate trauma-informed principles and practices.
  • Ensure that all day-to-day operations prioritize the safety, trustworthiness, peer support, collaboration, and empowerment of youth.
  • Establish systematic monitoring processes to track therapeutic outcomes and program effectiveness.
  • Foster strength-based approaches that build on youth and community assets.
  • Ensure documentation practices respect confidentiality and promote transparency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing programs that address complex trauma presentations.
  • Strong grasp of social work interventions, social policies, and community engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff and stakeholders.
  • Degree in Social Sciences or related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in managerial/leadership roles.
