Job Description:Company Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to lead our early childhood development program. As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of young children.
Salary: SGD 3,500 - SGD 4,000 per month (depending on qualifications and experience)
Job Responsibilities:
- Program Planning and Implementation: Plan, develop, and implement high-quality programs that align with our curriculum framework and meet the diverse needs of children.
- Classroom Management: Establish a well-structured and organized classroom environment that encourages active learning, exploration, and play.
- Child Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor and record children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and providing individualized support to ensure they reach their full potential.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting children's learning and development.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education, attending professional development opportunities, and participating in staff training and meetings.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in early childhood education, preferably in a leadership role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting
