Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based medical nutritional therapy to patients in the psychiatric speciality in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.
  • Liaise with Dietetics and Catering Services (DCS) to manage Food Service.
  • Conduct health promotional activities (such as group education sessions).
  • Ensure clear and accurate documentation for all service provided.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Competency:

  • Good interpersonal and patient engagement skills.
  • Fluent in English, and Mandarin/Malay/Tamil/Dialects.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics/Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics/Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in clinical or community dietetics.
  • Individuals registered with the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association (SNDA) will be preferred.
Benefits

  • Have at least 4 years of experience as a clinical dietitian, specialising in either psychiatry, geriatric, paediatrics, and/or food service.
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of dietitians, dietetic interns, and polytechnic student attachments.
