Job Description

Teaching Primary Mathematics in Singapore

As a Freelance Primary Maths Teacher, you will guide international students towards success in Singapore's education system.

This role involves teaching engaging lessons in Primary Mathematics to students aged 8 to 12. You will need to prepare students for the MOE syllabus and AEIS exam, which requires strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment requirements.

Key responsibilities include drafting lesson plans, preparing lessons prior to teaching, and adapting your teaching style to support international students transitioning to Singapore schools.

You will also be responsible for preparing and submitting periodical learning reports, attending in-house training sessions, and inspiring confidence and problem-solving skills in young learners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Maths or Education, with prior teaching or tutoring experience, particularly at the Primary level. Bilingualism in English and Mandarin is also highly desirable.

Familiarity with the MOE syllabus and AEIS exam format is essential, as well as being patient, adaptable, and committed to student success.

Key Requirements:
