Job Overview:
We seek highly motivated and organized professionals to assume the role of Academic Coordinator. This position is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of academic curriculum across all levels.
The ideal candidate will ensure seamless syllabus rollout, guide new teachers in their roles, develop teaching resources, and maintain continuity in teaching processes even during staff transitions. This is a crucial role in improving student performance and maintaining academic excellence within the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Planning & Implementation:
Develop and structure the academic syllabus on a fortnightly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Track the implementation of the syllabus by teachers and recommend improvements where necessary. Ensure syllabus alignment with institutional goals and curriculum standards.
Teacher Support & Development:
Assist with the induction and training of new teachers to ensure a smooth integration into the school system. Prepare and explain Teacher Manuals and provide clear guidelines on professional conduct, teaching standards, and expectations. Manage the handover process when teachers exit the school, ensuring proper documentation and knowledge transfer.
Teaching Excellence:
Drive the development of teaching resources and materials to support teacher effectiveness and student engagement. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement among teachers and staff.
