KPMG ESG Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ESG specialist to join our KPMG ESG team in Singapore. As a Manager, you will play a key role in driving large-scale economic transformation in Singapore and the region associated with the green transition.
Key Responsibilities- Position KPMG as a leading firm for social impact-related services in Singapore and Southeast Asia, in collaboration with other Global and Regional ESG Centres of Excellence as well as cross-functional teams to ensure we have integrated and end-to-end offerings.
- Support business development activities including the development of proposals as well as thought leadership pieces, and other industry-driven engagements.
- Support the development and delivery of service offerings in areas such as:
- Impact framework implementation, including implementation and design of methodologies for clients to align themselves with key impact frameworks such as IRIS+ as launched by the GIIN, and SROI;
- Social impact strategy, including providing strategic guidance to clients on philanthropic initiatives, impact investment opportunities, and sustainable business practices; and
- Capacity building, including drafting and conducting training sessions and workshops, for both internal and external parties, to assist them in understanding social impact and key impact frameworks
- Staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities within the philanthropy and impact investing space, as well as conducting in-depth research and analysis to support all client recommendations.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including senior management within our clients as well as partners and global contacts within our own organisation.
- Support the team in delivery of client engagements, ensuring high quality service and building relationships with a client-for-life approach.
- Ensure robust risk management procedures are carried out in accordance with the firm's guidelines and requirements.
- Strongly passionate about ESG issues and committed to making a difference in the corporate landscape.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of the social impact landscape and impact frameworks, as well as key elements when building out an ESG strategy for impact investing and philanthropic initiatives.
- Possesses an outstanding academic record, preferably in Accountancy, Social Sciences, Economics, Business, or Communications.
- Has a minimum of 5 years' full-time relevant working experience, preferably in philanthropy, impact investing, and/or social impact consulting.
- Has excellent knowledge of MS office, especially MS PowerPoint and Excel, and is adept at developing presentation materials to a high quality with a short turnaround.
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication (written and spoken) skills, enjoys working with people and is able to build relationships with and manage a range of different stakeholders, both external and internal.
- Is of a curious temperament, independent in learning, and a self-starter with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Has effective project management skills and is able to multi-task to deliver on varying priorities within a highly pressured and often shifting environment
