Job Overview:
The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels for all products, including periodic stock-take and ordering of lab supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory levels for all products
- Ensure proper documentation for all purchase and inventory transactions
- Maintain close communication with lab personnel and vendors when necessary
- Perform sampling and analysis of Raw Material and Packaging Material
- Responsible for receiving and tracking test sample inventories, distributing samples for testing and sample destruction
- Prepare and submit samples to contract laboratories
- Follow up on results of tests with contract labs
- Support in preparing analytical reagents when required
- Work closely with EHS officer to ensure lab supplies are compliant with Environment, Health, Safety and Security policies
- Responsible for QC lab and equipment/instrument cleanliness
Requirements:
- Diploma/Nitec in science-related discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology)
- Fresh grad or minimum 1 year of quality control experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
- Possess working knowledge of GMP in the pharmaceutical industry
- A good team player with positive learning attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, good verbal and written communication skills
