Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Emergency Medical Transport Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an integral member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and professional service to patients and their families.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Operating ambulances to transport patients safely and efficiently.
  • Managing scheduled patient transfers, hospital discharges, and responding to emergency and non-emergency cases.
  • Assisting medical personnel in loading and unloading patients from the ambulance.
  • Performing routine checks and basic maintenance of the ambulance.
  • Adhering to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and operational procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

The following qualifications and skills are required:

  • Possess a valid Class 3 driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience.
  • Previous experience in defensive driving is highly preferred.
  • Certification or experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is advantageous.
  • Physically fit and capable of assisting with patient transfers.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
