We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team at SATS Food Services PTE. LTD. as a Culinary Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading daily culinary production, ensuring high food safety standards, and driving culinary training for the cooks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence
    • Plan and manage daily culinary operations to ensure timely execution of meals to customers
    • Coordinate with the culinary team to maintain high food safety standards and quality control
  • Culinary Training and Development
    • Drive culinary training for the cooks to enhance their skills and knowledge
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve culinary performance
  • Customer Focus
    • Understand customer requirements and attributes to ensure their satisfaction
    • Work closely with the culinary operations team to ensure product and service standards are maintained
  • Team Leadership
    • Build strong relationships with the culinary team
    • Act as the key point of contact for all culinary-related issues and escalate to the Sous Chef as necessary
  • Performance Management
    • Plan and conduct regular performance reviews with the culinary team to iterate and improve SFS' effectiveness
    • Get feedback to further strengthen SFS' services
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work cross-functionally with other departments (Business Development, Culinary, Material Planning, Logistics, Purchaser) to drive new initiatives and problem-solving
