Occupational Therapist Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in various healthcare institutions.

Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing clients' Activities of Daily Living (ADL), Instrumental ADL (IADL), leisure abilities, functional status, cognition, perception, and psychosocial status. You will set suitable therapeutic goals and develop and implement intervention plans tailored to each client's needs.

You will conduct trainings for support staff as required, ensuring they have the necessary skills to implement your intervention plans effectively. Additionally, you will provide advice on the use of orthotics, prosthetics, or assistive/adaptive devices to enhance clients' ADL performances.

Home assessments and recommendations for home modifications will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will provide caregiver training and patient education, promoting community integration activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • Full registration with AHPC
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Passion for Occupational Therapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in local languages is advantageous
  • Self-motivated and committed to ongoing learning and education in Occupational Therapy
