**Job Title:** Airport Baggage Handling Operations Specialist

">About the Role

The Airport Baggage Handling Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of airport baggage handling systems. This position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain airport baggage handling systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot system faults and implement prompt solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with Shift Engineers to resolve system-related issues and provide regular updates on system status.
  • Assist in the commissioning of new baggage handling systems and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in SCADA technology and other relevant systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure safe operation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in an Engineering-related field.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA technology (training provided if necessary).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work rotating 3-shift schedules and overtime as required.
  • A valid Class 3 driving license is an advantage but not necessary.
  • A strong willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations.
