Electrical Systems Engineer

Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safety and availability of electrical systems, installation and power network.
  • The engineer will design, install, repair, maintain, operate, inspect, test and take full charge and responsibility for any electrical installation on site up to 66kV.
  • This includes main substation, substations, high voltage GIS (Gas Isolated Switchgear) and installation, high, medium and low voltage motor, diesel power generator, transformer, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), MCC (Motor Control Center), PU (Package Units).
  • The engineer will also plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • He/She will perform troubleshooting and problem solving tasks during project startup, maintenance, and production problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Process Controls or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in electrical engineering activities in the chemical or petrochemical industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of current Siemens GIS and SCS.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and environmental concerns.

  • Usage and understanding of technical drawings such as P&ID's, electrical and instrument drawings and equipment manuals is a requirement for this position.
  • Will be required to attend internal and external trainings if necessary abroad.
