Early childhood education is a critical period of growth and development, and our organization seeks a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Infant Care Teacher.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who can provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants in their care. This includes designing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants in your care
  • Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development
  • Observe and document the progress and developmental needs of each child
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to ensure a collaborative partnership in supporting the children's growth
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that meets all safety and hygiene standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a recognized early childhood education qualification, such as a Advanced Cert in Early Years (ACEY) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) or equivalent. Additionally, you should have experience working with infants in a childcare or preschool setting, preferably for a minimum of 2 years.

Desirable Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of child development and the ability to create engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
