Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement process for electrical components and systems.

This critical role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality materials and services.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electronic Manufacturing Services Management: Oversee EMS commercial and operations to meet delivery, cost, and quality goals.
  • Cost Reduction: Implement best-in-class sourcing and lean manufacturing practices to drive cost reduction.
  • Supplier Management: Expedite component suppliers and manage material shortages to support on-time delivery.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve and de-escalate issues, driving necessary improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work independently with global teams to achieve goals.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Experience of 2-3 years in Electronic Manufacturing Services/Contract Manufacturing management, Manufacturing/Engineering Operations, or Planning/Purchasing/Sourcing management is essential.

You should possess strong knowledge in EMS/CM management, manufacturing processes, demand/supply planning, and logistics. Comprehensive knowledge in the Electronics Electrical category is also required.
