Cyber Security Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will involve continuous monitoring and analysis of cybersecurity threats, as well as initial response and escalation services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform continuous cyber monitoring and analysis
- Handle escalations from L1 analysts
- Analyze malware and identify its behavior
- Process cyber intelligence and IoCs
- Triage IDS, Malware Protection Systems, AV, and EDR alerts
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Proven experience with SIEM, EDR, AD, Cloud Networking, RegEx, Correlation rules, Windows/Linux, and associated protocols and tools
- Able to analyze and investigate various logs
- Experience working in Technical Operational Teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and synthesizing skills

Your ExpertiseTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline
- Ability to handle escalations from L1 and perform deeper investigation
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as SIEM, EDR, AD, Cloud Networking, RegEx, Correlation rules, Windows/Linux, and associated protocols and tools
- Ability to analyze and investigate various logs
- Experience working in Technical Operational Teams
- Experience or reasonable understanding of IT Security, Networks, and Cyber Threat Landscape
Possession of at least one of the industry-recognized cyber security certifications (CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, SANS GIAC, OSCP) is a plus.
