We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-Office Platform Specialist to support our capital markets operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Calypso back-office platform, including hands-on knowledge of Confirmations, Settlement, Position, and Accounting modules.

The selected individual will be responsible for resolving incidents, providing timely updates, and collaborating with global teams to drive problem management and implement long-term solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Resolving complex technical issues related to Calypso
  • Providing Level 2 application support for back-office users
  • Monitoring batch chains and application health
  • Defining and implementing application monitoring using monitoring-as-code practices

The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of domain-driven design, and proficiency in Java, PL/SQL, Linux, and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and PowerShell.

Additional desirable skills include exposure to microservices architecture and understanding of front office/market risk environments and financial products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive business value by identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing innovative solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
