As a Customer Development Manager, you'll play a critical role in building and managing our portfolio of brands, driving growth and impact through strategic partnerships and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve sales targets in Modern Trade accounts, leveraging your knowledge of KC products and categories, internal and external sales and marketing data, customer management, negotiation, and trade operations.
- Manage Trade Promotional budget and allocated Trade Fund to generate profitable sales mix and develop plans to address variation versus Budgets and provide demand forecast for responsible area.
- Initiate, develop, implement, and evaluate promotion strategies and activities with assigned customers according to annual sales, marketing, and category plans, applying business management and analysis tools (PTCS, SPO) to support total responsibility for assigned Trade Promotion Funds.
- Provide daily customer engagement and business building activities to customers in the assigned region to ensure sales targets are achieved within budget spend rate, managing and providing direction to the team of merchandisers and promoters to do in-store execution in-line with the agreed business plans.
- Implement Customer's Trading Terms, Business Plans, Financial Viability Analysis recommendation, and trade pricing strategy, establishing strategic, cross-functional relationships and regular dialogue with key stakeholders.
About You
We're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven professional with a strong background in sales and commercial development. You'll need to have a minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG, and a minimum tertiary education (Diploma). Bilingual skills are a plus, and you'll need to be comfortable working with people across multi-functional teams.
