Senior Mechanical Designer

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Professional to spearhead the design and development of innovative mechanical solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading the design of mechanical components and systems from concept to production, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements.
The successful candidate will conduct market research, propose design changes to improve user experience, and perform FEA simulations and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis. They will also be responsible for drafting 3D designs in CAD (Solidworks) and performing hands-on prototyping, outputting all relevant files and documentation for suppliers and finalizing designs for production.
A key aspect of this role is developing technical documents and handbooks, as well as providing technical advice and assistance as required. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and manufacturing processes, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Solidworks and other CAD software.
About the Role:
- Lead the design of mechanical components and systems from concept to production

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and development
- Proficiency in Solidworks and other CAD software
- Strong understanding of design principles and manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
