We are seeking a skilled IT professional to manage and maintain our VMware environment, including vCenter, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in systems and server administration, as well as strong knowledge of VMware vCenter and virtual machine management.

Required Skills
  • Systems Administration: 3-5 years of experience in managing Windows Server and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • VMware Expertise: Strong knowledge of vCenter, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines, including deployment, configuration, and optimization.
  • Backup and Recovery: Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, including setup, monitoring, and recovery testing.
  • Active Directory: In-depth understanding of Active Directory user/group management, policies, and domain services.
  • Troubleshooting: Solid troubleshooting skills across server, storage, and system platforms.
Desired Qualifications
  • Technical Leadership: Prior experience in a technical lead role, guiding small teams and handling projects.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, for hybrid integration.
  • Scripting: Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting for automation.
Responsibilities
  • VMware Management: Manage and maintain VMware environments, including vCenter, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines.
  • Server Administration: Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Active Directory Administration: Oversee Active Directory administration, including user provisioning, security groups, and GPOs.
  • Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage Veeam backup solutions, including regular testing of recovery processes.
  • Server Security: Monitor, patch, and secure servers to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT operations, upgrades, and migrations.
