Senior Java Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our software solutions team.

As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining applications that meet the highest standards of scalability and security.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java programming language.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to align software solutions with technology strategies and ensure seamless integration.
  • Work closely with QA teams to implement continuous integration and automated testing, ensuring the delivery of reliable and efficient software solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate performance and security vulnerabilities, ensuring the integrity of our software products.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and engage in pair programming with team members to foster collaboration and improve overall coding standards.
  • Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, including design documents and API specifications.
  • Mentor junior developers to help them grow professionally and advance their skills.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues escalated to the team, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of applications and platforms through innovative solutions and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in software development.
  • Proficient in Java programming language and its ecosystem.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, such as Azure Kubernetes Service.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools, like GitLab or GitHub.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka is a plus.
  • Background in the financial industry is preferred, with an understanding of banking processes and investment products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for global collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
