Job Title: Senior Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Singapore. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will work closely with our team to design various structures, especially underground MRT stations and tunnels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing geotechnical designs for ERSS, geotechnical, and civil engineering projects, liaising with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Detailed geotechnical design and analysis.
  • Ensuring that design, assessments, and checking of designs are in accordance with current Standards, Codes of Practice, and Best Practice.
  • Reviewing, checking, and approving designs, assessments, and calculations in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Preparing risk assessments and ensuring full compliance with DfS.
  • Coordinating work undertaken by external sub-contractors and design checkers and client management.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a design environment in Singapore.
  • Experience in designing underground MRT stations.
  • Sound understanding of DfS Regulations, specifically the designer's requirements and the risk assessment process.
  • Ability to manage own time.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to manage small projects.
  • Ability to interface with other disciplines.
