Network Infrastructure Specialist

Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage daily operational tasks, provisioning and troubleshooting network systems.

  • Network Management: Manage day-to-day operational tasks including provisioning and troubleshooting of network systems.
  • Application Development: Develop application code according to client specifications using recommended processes standards and tools.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain well-defined documentation for network maintenance and support.
  • Configuration Management: Apply configuration management procedures for change requests.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues by reviewing codes and fixing gaps.
  • Incident Analysis: Analyze production incidents with troubleshooting and monitoring.
  • Migration Support: Provide support for migration projects which includes analyzing and processing of network data.
  • Disaster Recovery: Handle disaster recovery exercises to ensure business continuity plans are in compliance with governance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering telecommunications or related fields is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year local experience in telecommunication project implementation delivery maintenance network planning operating systems databases and cloud infrastructure is preferred.
  • Skills: Familiarity with Python Bash Java JavaScript programming languages and Cloud Native or Power BI technology platforms is desirable.
  • Theory Knowledge: Understanding of the OSI model and its 7 layers is necessary.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise and interact with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Ad-hoc Duty:
  • Aptitude in Automation and Artificial Intelligence is an added advantage.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
