Software Engineering Position
We are seeking an experienced software professional to join our organization as a Senior Software Engineer.
This role will be part of a broader support structure involving 24x7 coverage for over 50 applications.
The successful candidate will work closely with the client onsite team and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions.
About the Role:
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support and guidance to ensure seamless operation of our systems.
Key responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues, developing and implementing new features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in software development, including experience with L1 support roles, preferably in banking or card systems.
Proficiency in languages such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, and Microfocus environment (Flex) is also essential.
Familiarity with SQL/DB2, log analysis, ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy), and ITIL practices is preferred.
Strong communication and customer service orientation are critical for success in this position.
