Job Description

The National University Health System Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Strategic Precinct Lead to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role will lead in developing healthy precincts and building community partnerships to promote a healthy community.

Healthy Precinct Overview

A Healthy Precinct is a geographical location with an environment and culture that supports residents in achieving and sustaining healthy lifestyles. Our goal is to create a thriving community where residents can live, work, and play in a healthy and sustainable manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop Overall Strategy: Develop the overall strategy and framework for Healthy Precincts, taking into account the unique needs and characteristics of each precinct.
  • Plan and Operationalize: Plan and operationalize Healthy Precincts to achieve health-social integration with internal and community stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration across settings.
  • Track Progress: Develop and track progress of work plans and workstreams on Healthy Precincts, monitoring key performance indicators and making adjustments as needed.
  • Community Empowerment: Create a plan to empower communities to take care of their health, promoting healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices through education and outreach programs.
  • Community Culture: Develop a community culture to drive behavior towards leading a healthy lifestyle and emphasize preventive care with community stakeholders, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility among residents.
  1. Build Partnerships: Build partnerships with internal and community stakeholders, including grassroots organizations, social service agencies, and healthcare providers, to ensure integrated care across settings and maximize resources.
  2. Implement Initiatives: Develop and implement initiatives for integrated care and population health improvement, leveraging best practices and evidence-based strategies to drive positive change.
  3. Lead and Support: Lead and support the team, providing guidance and direction as needed, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Evaluate Resources: Evaluate and ensure the department has adequate resources to carry out its mission, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for resource allocation.
  • Develop Team Members: Develop team members to enhance their skills and maximize their potential, providing training and development opportunities to support career growth and advancement.
  • Integrate Teams: Integrate the team with other RHSO departments and divisions, promoting cross-functional collaboration and communication to drive shared goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or business-related fields.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in healthcare, corporate/strategic planning, and partnership development, including minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven strategic thinking and planning ability, with a demonstrated capacity to develop and implement comprehensive plans and initiatives.
  • Writing Skills: Excellent writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
