We are seeking a skilled Facilities and Utilities Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing utilities and facilities in manufacturing environments, preferably in the food industry.

The role involves overseeing the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of all utilities and facilities within the plant, including water, electricity, HVAC, compressed air, and waste management, as well as facilities services like building maintenance, cleaning, and site security.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience managing utilities and facilities in manufacturing (preferably food industry).
  • Strong knowledge of performance-based contracting, utility optimization, and cost-saving strategies.
  • 5+ years' experience leading and managing large teams.
  • Experience leading maintenance and engineering departments.
  • Technical expertise in various types of equipment, systems, and facilities.
  • Understanding of operational protocols (e.g., GMP, HACCP, etc.).
  • Proven experience with preventive maintenance for utilities and facilities.
  • Proficiency in CMMS for tracking and managing maintenance activities.
  • Fluency in local language and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience managing large-scale utilities and facilities projects.
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ability to manage contractors and internal service providers to maintain high standards.
  • Excellent communication skills both upward and downward.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and lead the team to thrive under all circumstances.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comfortable with managing positive change.
  • Self-starter and results-driven mindset.

Your Key Responsibilities

The Facilities and Utilities Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing and maintaining all utilities (water, electricity, HVAC, compressed air) and facilities (building maintenance, cleaning, security).
  • Overseeing performance-based contracts for utilities and facilities services to ensure cost-effective and compliant operations.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance for all utilities and facilities, including environmental, safety, and quality standards.
  • Implementing initiatives to improve reliability and energy efficiency, meeting aggressive cost-saving targets.
  • Conducting audits and inspections to ensure the optimal performance of utilities and facilities.
  • Collaborating with the Asset Manager to align utilities and facilities operations with production needs.
  • Developing and maintaining a preventive maintenance program for utilities and facilities according to global policies.
  • Implementing Global Standards and overseeing BCOS work processes, particularly within utilities as a dedicated cell.
  • Supporting projects related to the expansion, upgrading, or modification of utilities and facilities infrastructure.
