Regional Tax Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Tax Controller to join our team. As a key member of the Regional Controllership Team, you will play a vital role in bridging HQ tax and LATAM tax teams.
Responsibilities:- Tax Planning and Compliance
You will develop and maintain tax plans, compliance procedures, and risk assessment frameworks to ensure effective tax management. This includes managing and overseeing the filing of regular tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and other direct or indirect taxes.
Tax Strategy ImplementationYou will collaborate with finance, accounting teams, and other stakeholders to implement tax strategies and policies accurately per national tax compliance requirements. This includes identifying, tracking, and reporting potential financial risks or issues and working closely with accounting teams to implement solutions.
Tax Alignment and CoordinationYou will ensure alignment among HQ teams and local teams on tax matters. This includes being responsible for the group's direct tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing matters, as well as tax compliance and tax reporting.
Transfer Pricing and Audit ManagementYou will coordinate or prepare transfer pricing documentation to ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations. You will also manage tax audits in collaboration with finance teams.
Requirements:- Proven experience in tax planning, compliance, and strategy implementation.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
