Technical System Architect for Enterprise Video Intelligence Solutions

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical System Architect to lead the design and implementation of our enterprise-grade video intelligence solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving system-level design, solution completeness, and support in the implementation of medium to large-scale IT/Engineering projects with high complexity and within budget.
Job Responsibilities:- Analyzing complex technical requirements from customers and proposing both on-premise and cloud-based video/AI-related solutions and system architecture to meet requirements.
- Evaluating products/solutions from various vendors and capable of narrowing down the choice of vendor's product based on solution quality, product performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Actively engaging in system design review with customers and capable of contributing as an in-depth technical domain expert.
- Able to work independently and act as a "technical advisor" to project teams and customers to resolve technical-related issues.
- Supporting and involving in proof of concept or demo during tender presales stage and project implementation stage, if required.
- Supporting Request for Quotation (RFQ), able to negotiate with vendors, and making product/solution recommendations to bid proposal teams for inclusion in proposals.
- Providing support in project implementation upon award, including driving system-level and detailed design, system design documentation, acceptance test plans, and seeking approvals from customers and regulatory authorities where applicable, and managing 3rd party vendors on system delivery and technical performance.
- Configuring, implementing, optimizing, and testing video/AI-related software and hardware, but not limited to, IP cameras, video encoders, video management systems, video analytics, storage, virtualization, as well as benchmarking various video analytics solutions for technical comparative assessments.
- Conducting and developing materials for use in customer training and training others in project teams or lifecycle support services teams.
- Conducting project post-mortems, identifying successful elements, and proposing recommendations on areas for improvement.
- Following up on implemented solutions and identifying new opportunities that complement the work completed.
- Degree: Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Certification: Technical certs as Public Cloud Architect, IT Infra Architect, Video/AI Solution Architect.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in design and implementation of IT/System Engineering projects, preferably related to enterprise-grade video management, video analytics systems, and AI solutions, both on premise and cloud.
- Hands-on professional with strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills associated with the design and implementation of systems for Singapore government and local enterprises.
- In-depth knowledge with GCC cloud, public cloud (AWS, Google, Azure), and private cloud design for system implementation.
- Familiar with on-premise IT infrastructure solutions in IT networks, servers, and storage.
- Familiar with hyper-converged and virtualization solutions (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix).
- Familiar with multi-tier system architecture and cyber security common services requirements for Singapore government projects.
- Strong leadership coupled with excellent client, vendor, and team management skills, as well as good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to clearly articulate complex technical solutions to customers and consultants.
