As a quantitative analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining and upgrading our cutting-edge trading framework.
Maintaining the codebase and configuration of strategies within the firm's automated trading system is a key responsibility. This involves working closely with quant researchers and traders to understand their evolving needs and ensuring the robustness of our systematic trading activities.
Large datasets used in research and production environments are managed by you, and you perform live and historical monitoring of trading activities. This includes post-trade analysis and production reconciliation.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with quant researchers and traders to deliver high-quality results. A typical day begins before market open, with checks to ensure all required data and processes are ready for the trading day.
During market hours, you will sporadically monitor behavior and performance of strategies, while also working on longer-term projects to expand our systematic trading activities.
A degree in engineering, computer science or related technical field is required, as is proficiency in at least one major programming or scripting language (e.g., C++, Java, Python). Great attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work well under pressure are essential.
Additional desirable qualifications include knowledge of Q/KDB+, Linux, and Bash. Advanced quantitative skills are also highly valued.
