This position involves working closely with SBL Lenders, Lending Advisors, and Credit Risk Executives to deliver exceptional client service, facilitate loan origination, monitor credit risk exposures, and provide comprehensive credit solutions for Ultra High Net Worth clients.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled analyst to assist SBL Lenders in underwriting facilities secured by clients' investment portfolios, including new requests, annual reviews, and monitoring of ongoing credit risk events. The successful candidate will analyze collateral pool and grade appropriately per credit policy, including ability to flag credit exceptions or non-standard terms for review.
- Handle credit documentation, including preparation, scanning, and filing.
- Monitor and review the loan portfolio, regularize excesses as per Credit guidelines, regulations, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with Credit Underwriting team, Credit Executives, and stakeholders on exception handling for credit facilities extended to Asia Private Banking clients.
- Assist Lenders in pipeline management and other strategic initiatives.
- Explore automation opportunities for existing reports using Intelligent Automation tools.
Required Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Polytechnic or post-graduate diploma holder in any discipline. At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Credit Risk or Lending in a financial institution is required. You should have high-level analytical skills, able to use qualitative and quantitative tools to analyze complex financial situations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential. A high level of attention to detail with good time management is required, as well as a teamwork ethic and focus, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision are also necessary. Demonstrated interest in financial markets and understanding of risk measures is desired.
Salary Information:
The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 and $110,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
