Semiconductor Equipment Technician

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to support the smooth operation of our semiconductor equipment.
- Troubleshoot process-related problems and identify root cause(s) for effective and timely resolution of field issues
- Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing on design, quality, and performance issues
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical service support including set-up, installation, and commissioning of new equipment. This will involve troubleshooting process-related problems and identifying root cause(s) for effective and timely resolution of field issues. In addition, the Technical Specialist will work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing on design, quality, and performance issues to ensure that all aspects of equipment operation are optimized.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support
- Provide technical service support to customers on equipment installation, maintenance, and repair
- Assist in troubleshooting process-related problems and identify root cause(s)
- Work with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to resolve design, quality, and performance issues
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in servicing sorter, inspection, and marking equipment
- Laser marking experience is an added advantage
- Computer literate
- Excellent customer orientation skills
- Able to travel overseas at short notice
