Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team at Hotel Royal Limited. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms are clean, tidy, and ready for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Check and stock up all necessary linens and supplies required for the day.
• Verify room status against the daily report and report any discrepancies to the Supervisor immediately.
• Clean a minimum of fifteen (15) rooms daily, replenishing amenities according to Operational Standards.
• Perform rotation cleaning duties, including thorough cleaning and shampoo carpet cleaning as required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and security of guestrooms and ensure the privacy of guests.
• Check and report faulty items for repair to the Floor Supervisors/Housekeeping office while cleaning guestrooms.
• Check Room Safe and set dials for check-out and vacant clean rooms.
• Report and hand in any Lost and Found items to the Floor Supervisors/Housekeeping office.
• Record and exchange soiled linen correctly and enter it in the Linen Changing list before exchange for clean linens at the Linen Room.

Requirements

• Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or related field.
• Ability to understand and communicate in simple English to interact with guests and colleagues.
• Knowledge in use of vacuum cleaner and proper chemicals handling.
• Functional knowledge in room cleaning.
• Hardworking team player with a pleasant personality.
