Job Overview

This role involves overseeing project activities to ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, a good understanding of construction practices, and the ability to communicate effectively.

The Resident Engineer plays a key part in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This includes supervising site works, monitoring progress, and identifying any potential issues early on.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing site records, inspecting work, and reporting back to the project team. A key aspect of the role is to ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with designs and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee project activities to ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements.
  • Site Supervision: Supervise site works, monitor progress, and identify any potential issues early on.
  • Quality Control: Inspect work, manage site records, and report back to the project team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Civil Engineering Diploma: A diploma in civil engineering or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • Leadership Experience: At least 4 years of experience in supervising residential buildings.
  • Resident Engineer Certificate: Holding a Resident Engineer certificate accredited by IES/ACES is mandatory.
  • Statutory Code Knowledge: Strong knowledge of statutory codes and requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
