  • Technology Evaluation: Work proactively with internal and external providers to research, evaluate, select, test, and implement hardware and software systems.
  • Alignment: Ensure alignment of solutions delivered by providers, and internal architects with published reference architectures and IT strategies.
  • Architectural Governance: Participate in internal architectural governance forums ensuring appropriate design decisions are made.
  • Technology Introduction: Lead the introduction of new technologies into the organization by clearly understanding the enterprise requirements and running the appropriate technology selection process.
  • Strategic Platforms: Provide expert advice and guidance regarding the design and implementation of strategic platforms.
  • IT Strategy: Identify and analyze IT organizational and sector strategic issues/options and align technology vision with business strategy to guide the development, implementation, and governance of IT strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Review, analyze, and provide input for continuous improvement into IT strategies and systems to provide recommendations on the alignment, risk, financial value, and contribution to organizational priorities.
  • Team Support: Participate in meetings and discussions to share information and provide input and feedback.
  • Deliverables: Support in meeting the teams deliverables.
  • Issue Escalation: Escalate issues, keep informed, advise, and receive guidance.
  • Reporting: Provide recommendations and inform through reporting any emerging issues.
