Job Title: Dental Support Specialist

Key Role in Our Clinic

Dental support specialists play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of dental clinics. As part of our team, you will be responsible for assisting dentists during procedures, preparing and sterilizing instruments, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in treatment rooms, welcoming patients, managing records, and performing basic reception duties when needed.

Core Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists with various treatments including fillings, extractions, scaling, and other procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to prevent infection and maintain patient safety
  • Ensure treatment rooms are clean, hygienic, and organized to promote a positive patient experience
  • Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, providing excellent customer service
  • Manage patient records and appointments efficiently, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Perform basic reception duties as needed, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred but training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new procedures and technologies
  • Ability to work on weekends and rotating shifts (if applicable) and provide flexible scheduling as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, dentists, and other staff members
  • Basic computer literacy to manage electronic medical records and perform administrative tasks
