Job Title: Product Design Specialist

This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled and innovative Product Design Specialist to join our organization. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing solutions based on project requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of design specifications based on customer requirements, organizational goals, and business strategies.
  • Conceptualize and develop solutions based on project requirements and company standards through the use of simulations and modeling to support design concepts.
  • Develop design specification sheets with relevant information related to the project and update as needed.
  • Create 3D models of machines and modules assigned, ensuring optimized design for manufacturing, cost, quality, and safety.
  • Initiate and carry out internal design reviews to share and explain completed modules with other departments.
  • Revise designs and documents based on both internal and external reviews.
  • Create and update flowcharts for modules or entire machines.
  • Prepare part drawings and assembly drawings based on approved designs and obtain approval from department managers.
  • Develop Bill Of Materials (BOM) for modules assigned based on design schedules.
  • Create drawing release files and send drawings for quotation.
  • Support machine assembly teams with setup and fine-tuning of machines.
  • Maintain working knowledge of relevant technologies and best practices, upholding company policies, internal, customer standards for machine building and safety.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of design specifications, customer requirements, and business strategies.
  • Experience in designing and developing complex products.
  • Ability to conceptualize and develop solutions based on project requirements and company standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as CAD/CAM/CAE and project management tools.
