This position involves managing all tax-related activities, including preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining records of all tax-related transactions.

As a Tax Strategist, you will be working closely with the finance team to identify areas of improvement in our tax processes and implement changes that benefit the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness;

  • Managing all tax-related transactions, including receipts, invoices, and bank statements;

  • Coordinating with external auditors and tax authorities to resolve any queries or discrepancies;

  • Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and implementing new procedures accordingly;

  • Developing and implementing tax strategies that minimize risk and maximize benefits;

  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure tax compliance and efficiency across the organization;

  • Providing guidance and support to staff on tax-related matters;

  • Performing regular audits to ensure tax compliance and identify areas for improvement;

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;

  • At least 5 years of experience in tax management or a related field;

  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations;

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software applications.
